Ellie Homant is a PhD candidate and award-winning instructor in the Department of Communication at Cornell University. Her areas of expertise include:

Her research and writing has appeared in the peer-reviewed journals International Journal of Communication and Television and New Media, and her research has been funded by the Cornell Center for Social Sciences.
